I’m an elementary general music teacher who loves reading, writing, and learning. I learned to love music from an early age. I think my earliest musical memory is of my father singing “You Are My Sunshine” and “My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean” as I stood beside him while he drove. Lest anyone think he was negligent, that was before the age of carseats! I also play clarinet (and piano, enough for the classroom).
This blog is a chronicle of thoughts and ideas related to music, teaching, learning, and performing from my own personal experiences. Please feel free to comment. I’d also like to learn from you!
